Client Experiences

Real dogs.
Real people.
Real progress.

Behaviour work is personal. Every dog arrives with a different history, every family with different challenges and every journey develops at its own pace.

These are the experiences of people who trusted The Dog Centre to help them understand their dogs more clearly, build practical skills and move forward with greater confidence.

The Dog Centre client experience

In Their Own Words

What matters most is
what changes at home.

Qualifications and professional standards matter. So does the experience of the people living the work every day.

The reviews below reflect puppies, rescue dogs, reactivity, anxiety, multi-dog households, training support, mantrailing and longer-term behaviour cases.

There is no single formula for behaviour change. Good support should help people understand what is happening, why it may be happening and what a realistic route forward can look like for their individual dog.

Why Professional Standards Matter

Support should be
qualified and welfare-focused.

Behaviour advice can directly influence a dog’s emotional wellbeing, physical safety and quality of life. Choosing appropriately qualified support matters, particularly where fear, anxiety, aggression, reactivity or other complex behaviour is involved.

Suzy White is an IAABC Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC). The Dog Centre’s approach is evidence-led and welfare-centred: behaviour modification is considered in the context of the whole dog, with physical and emotional welfare kept central to decision-making.

Support Beyond The Appointment

The Dog Centre
Alumni.

Behaviour support does not have to end when the consultation finishes.

The Dog Centre Alumni is an optional client support group open to all Dog Centre clients who would like to remain connected after working with us.

It provides an additional layer of community and ongoing support for people continuing to work with their dogs at home. Participation is entirely optional — some clients value a continued sense of connection, while others prefer to work independently with their consultation plan.

Your Dog Is An Individual

Your story will not look
exactly like anyone else’s.

Behaviour consultancy is not about applying a standard formula. It is about understanding the individual dog, the environment around them and the people who know them best — then building a practical, welfare-centred way forward together.
